Design Principles | Post Cards First Draft and Colour choice

Here the first draft of my post cards:

The choice of the colours is nor random:

• Blue: the blue represents something new. Quite relevant for a birth
• Yellow: represents the achievement
• Wedding: red for passion/love
• Death: black, colour of grieving

Few things were not right:

• I needed to add a second dominant colour
• The black can't be a dominant colour
• I put to many detailed elements. I need to follow the design used on the DEATH post card
